Local School Leadership Council (LSLC)
The Local School Leadership Council (LSLC) is a shared decision-making body, composed of elected parents, community members, faculty members and a student representative. The LSLC works cooperatively to make decisions in these areas of the school program:
- School calendar
- Professional development schedule
- Budget for instructional materials
- Student discipline guidelines, including the dress code, cell phone policy, and progressive discipline policy.
- Guidance for school equipment rentals such as copy machines
These meetings are open to any member of the Kennedy Community.
